Helping properties thrive without compromising on charm.
Hi, I’m Katie McNeil.
OUR FOUNDER
An American who’s called Tasmania home for the past five years, I bring a wealth of experience in interior design, brand management to marketing, working with global brands like Target, Nike, and LARK Distillery. These roles honed my ability to merge creativity with strategy to create standout spaces.
Designing beautiful, welcoming spaces has always been my passion—my friend Catherine calls it “Katiefying.” As an Airbnb owner, I know the joy of styling a space and the challenge of making it perform. Thoughtful details and an exceptional guest experience make all the difference.
I started Hestia & Hermès to help property owners create homes that shine and investments that thrive—ensuring every guest feels truly at home.
Our greek muses
BEHIND THE NAME
At Hestia & Hermès, we draw inspiration from Greek mythology to create exceptional short-term accommodation, balancing comfort and performance.
Hestia, the goddess of hearth and home, embodies warmth, connection, and the sense of sanctuary that makes a space inviting. Hermès, the god of travel and exchange, represents exploration, innovation, and opportunity.
Together, they reflect the essence of Hestia & Hermès—blending Hestia’s domestic grace with Hermès’ dynamic energy to create beautifully styled spaces that feel like home while thriving as investments.
